Unit Employees At or Near Salary Range Maximums. In July of each year of the MOU, the City shall provide a one-time cost of living bonus payment to Unit Employees who do not receive a step increase because their salary is at the salary range maximum. Employees in this category will receive one-time payments based on the following schedule. • July 2016 – 2% • July 2017 – 2.25% • July 2018 – 2.25% • July 2019 – 2.5% • July 2020 – 2.5% Unit Employees who reach their salary range maximum as a result of a partial salary step increase will receive a one-time cost of living bonus payment according to the schedule below, reduced by the percentage increase received to reach their salary range maximum. For example – For 2016-17 an Employee who is 0.5% away from the salary range maximum, will receive a 0.5% step increase plus a 1.5% one-time bonus payment; an employee who is 2.3% away from the salary range maximum, will receive a 2.3% step increase and no (0%) one-time bonus payment. • July 2016 up to 2% • July 2017 up to 2.25% • July 2018 up to 2.25% • July 2019 up to 2.5% • July 2020 up to 2.5%

  • Overtime-Eligible Employees Employees who are covered by the overtime provisions of state and federal law.

  • Eligible Participants Families and individuals experiencing homelessness. For the purposes of the Program, families and individuals are considered to be homeless only when he/she/they lack(s) a fixed, regular and adequate nighttime residence and reside(s) in a place not meant for human habitation, such as cars, parks, sidewalks, abandoned buildings, motels, or other shelters, or for reference as further defined in 24 CFR Part 578.3 and 576.2.

  • Overtime-Eligible Employees Unpaid Meal Periods The Employer and the Union agree to unpaid meal periods that vary from and supersede the unpaid meal period requirements required by WAC 000-000-000. Unpaid meal periods for employees working more than five (5) consecutive hours, if entitled, will be a minimum of thirty (30) minutes and will be scheduled as close to the middle of the work shift as possible, taking into account the Employer’s work requirements and the employee’s wishes. Employees working three (3) or more hours longer than a normal workday will be allowed an additional thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period. When an employee’s unpaid meal period is interrupted by work duties, the employee will be allowed to resume their unpaid meal period following the interruption, if possible, to complete the unpaid meal period. In the event an employee is unable to complete the unpaid meal period due to operational necessity, the employee will be entitled to compensation, which will be computed based on the actual number of minutes worked within the unpaid meal period. Meal periods may not be used for late arrival or early departure from work and meal and rest periods will not be combined.

  • Compensatory Time for Overtime Eligible Employees A. Compensatory Time Eligibility Compensatory time off may be earned in lieu of cash only when an institution and the employee agree. Compensatory time must be granted at the rate of one and one half (1-1/2) hours of compensatory time for each hour of overtime worked.

  • Requiring Minimum Compensation for Covered Employees a. Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of the Minimum Compensation Ordinance (MCO), as set forth in San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12P (Chapter 12P), including the remedies provided, and implementing guidelines and rules. The provisions of Sections 12P.5 and 12P.5.1 of Chapter 12P are incorporated herein by reference and made a part of this Agreement as though fully set forth. The text of the MCO is available on the web at xxx.xxxxx.xxx/xxxx/xxx. A partial listing of some of Contractor's obligations under the MCO is set forth in this Section. Contractor is required to comply with all the provisions of the MCO, irrespective of the listing of obligations in this Section.

  • Deferred Salary Scheme Employees may apply to have their salary payments deferred in accordance with the provisions of this clause.

The bi-weekly salary received by salaried employees will not be reduced regardless of the number of hours the salaried employee actually works in any week in which the salaried employee performs any work except for the following deductions:
