University of Vienna (UNIVIE. The results of the project will provide a significant stimulus to further research within University of Vienna as well as collaboration with the Medical University of Vienna and a couple of local SMEs in the field, exploiting especially the interdisciplinary nature of the project. In the domain of linked open data we plan to establish relationships to existing projects and data sources focusing on health promotion and disease prevention, especially in order to share our experience in enhancing the quality of controlled vocabularies in the health domain with related institutions and initiatives to contribute towards an best-practices approach in this area. Another important outcome of the project will be the envisioned close integration between the Experiment'HAAL lab run by Institut Mines-Telecom and the COSY:LAB set up at UNIVIE which is expected to lead to significant future collaborations and joint projects. Concrete targets: • Young researchers: o At least one PhD will be conducted in the area of PRECIOUS. The work starts with the kick-off of the project, the student will be directly involved in all project stages and processes and will profit from the direct collaboration with industry experts. A submission, in accordance to common practice in Vienna, will be intended to take place after the finalisation of the project. o Several bachelor students and master students will be integrated in the research work of PRECIOUS in order to further motivate their interest in research, computer science, and eHealth. • Integration in periodically-held lectures: o Bachelor seminar for computer scientists: Introduction of fundamental materials and motivation of students to do a bachelor thesis in the area of PRECIOUS or in the broader context of e-Health or wellbeing. This could motivate students to consider creating a startup in this area, as rather common among computer science students. o Great Principles of Computer Science (Practical): Introduction of fundamental materials and announcement of several seminar works to be worked on by students. o Master theses and practical works: All involved groups from UNIVIE (Entertainment Computing, Cooperative Systems, and Multimedia Information Systems) will announce open master theses in the broader area of PRECIOUS in order to facilitate the continuation of PRECIOUS work beyond the runtime of the project. • Laboratory Infrastructure o The laboratory infrastructure is intended to be used as permanent setting, which will r...

University of Vienna (UNIVIE. ● To pro-actively exploit the PRECIOUS results in industry, a start-up was founded (Robimo GmbH, xxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xx), which aims at introducing products that incorporate PRECIOUS research. Also to this end, a cooperation was formed with Go4Health (xxxx://xxx.xx-0-xxxxxx.xxx/). Go4Health can contribute an effective network across Europe and by this assist efforts of communication and market introduction of PRECIOUS-inspired products on a European scale. ● UNIVIE engaged in several activities aimed at making the results of the PRECIUS project available to industry and together explore opportunities of further exploitation. To this end, strategic meetings were held (1) with two large pharmaceutical companies, (2) the eHealth divison of a large electronic device manufacturer, (3) the austrian social insurance association. ● Additionally, UNIVIE held a workshop with upper management industry representatives as well as other stakeholders from in the health- and health management sector (“Uni Mind - University meets Industry”) to explore a possible next generation of eHealth services such as PRECIOUS.   • Research, Science and Technology Cooperation 1.
