Unpaid Carer’s Leave. (1) An employee is entitled to an additional 2 days unpaid carer’s leave on each occasion he or she is required to care for a member of his or her immediate family or a member of his or her household who is ill or injured. (2) The entitlement to unpaid carer’s leave will only arise if the employee has exhausted his or her paid personal leave for the year.
