Unpaid Pandemic Leave. 48.1 Subject to clauses 48.2, 48.3 and 48.4, any Employee is entitled to take up to two weeksunpaid leave if the Employee is required by government or medical authorities, or on the advice of a medical practitioner, to self-isolate and is consequently prevented from working, or is otherwise prevented from working by measures taken by government or medical authorities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unpaid Pandemic Leave. 1.10. Two weeks unpaid pandemic leave is available for casual Employees and all other Employees who have exhausted their paid pandemic leave with approval by their Executive Manager.
Unpaid Pandemic Leave. (a) An Employee is entitled to take up to two (2) weeks' unpaid leave (Pandemic Leave) if the Employee is required by government or medical authorities or on the advice of a medical practitioner to self-isolate and is consequently prevented from working, or is otherwise prevented from working by measures taken by State or Federal government or medical authorities in response to any “listed human disease” as defined pursuant to the Biosecurity (Listed Human Diseases) Determination 2016 (Cth) or any “listed human diseases” as determined by the Director of Human Biosecurity pursuant to the Biosecurity Act 2015 (Cth) (a Pandemic).

  • Unpaid Leave 6. Accrued compensatory time off may be used at the employee’s discretion, with management approval, after exhaustion of 100% sick leave (No. 3 above). However, FLSA compensatory time off shall not be counted against the employee’s four (4) month (nine [9] pay period [720 hours]) family or medical leave entitlement. Therefore, any use of FLSA compensatory time off under this Section shall extend the employee’s family or medical leave by the total amount of FLSA compensatory time off used.

  • Catastrophic Leave The County will administer a Catastrophic Leave procedure designed to permit individual donations of annual leave, vacation, healthcare leave (8 hours maximum per fiscal year), compensatory and/or PIP leave time to an employee who is required to be on an extended unpaid leave due to a catastrophic medical condition or other serious circumstances.
