For Casual Employees. Casual Employees who have been assigned workload during at least two (2) trimesters in the previous year shall, upon re-employment, be entitled to an increase to their current daily, or hourly rate expressed in dollars, which is equivalent to the percentage increase negotiated to the rates of pay in the applicable annual Salary Schedule (which forms part of this agreement). This paragraph does not apply to Casual employees assigned courses as non-credit Instructors.
For Casual Employees. (i) A minimum of seven days' notice when onshore and rostered to work.
(ii) In the event notice is given while offshore, the Employee must remain on the Vessel until the crew change.
(iii) When a Casual Employee is informed in writing of the length of a casual engagement and has not agreed to the employment yet, then the notice period will not apply.
(iv) When the project ceases ahead of the expected completion date and the notice period cannot reasonably be given, then the notice period will not apply.
For Casual Employees. (A) the leave entitlement in sub-clause (c)(i) is paid based on hours the Employee was rostered to work in the period over which the leave was taken;
(B) Without limiting sub-clause (c)(i)(2)(A), a casual employee is taken to have been rostered to work hours in a period if the Employee has accepted an offer by the Employer of work for
(C) They may take a period of family and domestic violence leave in accordance with this clause that does not include hours for which the Employee is rostered to work, however such leave will be unpaid
For Casual Employees. If a casual Employee is required to perform the prescribed type of worked outlined in the table below, they will be paid the corresponding rate of pay for those hours worked. For Casual Employees. Upon the automatic expiry of an Employee’s assignment with the Company for a fixed duration and/or task as outlined in their Letter of Offer. Any scheduled R&R or RDO days that occur during the relevant notice period will be considered part of the notice. Requests for Annual Leave to be considered part of the notice period may be approved by the Employer at its own discretion, considering operational requirements.

For Casual Employees. In an effort to recognize that CLS’ casual staff, the Employer will provide professional development and wellness funds to eligible employees. Casual employees who accumulate a minimum of four hundred and sixty-five (465) hours worked per calendar year will receive two hundred dollars ($ 200.00) per year for Professional Development and four hundred dollars ($ 400.00) per year paid as a lump sum payment. Eligibility for each year will be based on the previous calendar years’ hours worked and will be effective January 1 of the following year.
