Use of the Contribution. The resources of the Contribution may be used only for the procurement of goods and related services and the selection and contracting of consultants of the member countries of the Bank. Consequently, the procedures and specific bidding documents for bidding processes or other forms of contracting financed with the resources of the Contribution shall allow free competition of providers of goods and related services and of consultants of said countries.

Use of the Contribution. The Organisation shall use the Contribution exclusively for the purpose as further detailed in Key Terms above (the “Purpose”). The Organisation shall use the Contribution using care and diligence, and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes, and guidelines (including, without limitation, the IFPMA and EFPIA codes and any corresponding, equivalent or similar applicable national codes) (the Applicable Laws). Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the Organisation shall not use the Contribution for the provision of any hospitality, entertainment and/or leisure time programmes and/or subsistence to any healthcare professionals, appropriate administrative staff and/or members and appropriate staff of the Organisation unless and to the extent permitted by Applicable laws.
Use of the Contribution. 5.1 The Beneficiary shall execute the Project with the same care and diligence as it exercises with respect to the administration and management of its own affairs. The Beneficiary shall have sole responsibility for the execution of the Project. 5.2 The Beneficiary shall maintain separate records in respect of the Contribution by SECO pursuant to this Agreement (see paragraph 4.1) and the costs of the Project covered by the Contribution.
Use of the Contribution. The expenditures of the contributed funding has been used for: 1) Development of the Pan African Centre for Mathematics (PACM), a cooperation between Stockholm University and University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. 2) Support to research groups in chemistry, mathematics and physics at the Faculty of Science, National University of Laos (NUOL), Vientiane, Laos. 3) Asian Network for research on Food and Environmental Contaminants (ANFEC). 4) Other activities, mainly regarding laboratory and instrument maintenance. 5) Coordination of the cooperation and the activities, including a contribution to the ISP 50th Anniversary seminar in Uppsala. 6) Indirect costs, which in Uppsala University’s financial management system are the costs of the administrative support and premises, as generated by the operation of the core activities. Until 30 June 2015, 80% of the total five-year contribution has been used. Of that, 35% was spent on PACM development, 23% on support to NUOL, 9% on support to ANFEC, 12% on other activities, 1% on coordination and anniversary costs, and 19% on indirect costs (Figure 1, Appendix 3). Use of the Contribution. The Recipient is obliged to use the contribution only for the implementation of the Project in accordance with the requirements of this Subsidy Contract (including all elements of the Subsidy Contract according to Section 4).

Use of the Contribution. The Contribution shall be used to finance Global Fund activities. Accordingly, the Global Fund shall have full discretion and control over the use of the Contribution, under the guidance of its Board of Directors. Any interest or other income generated by the Contribution, including currency conversion gains, shall be utilized at the discretion of the Global Fund, pursuant to its duly established policies and procedures.
