Use of Vacation for Illness Absence. Whenever the employee uses all allowable sick, leave including Five-Month Law Leave, the absence will be charged against accrued vacation. The employee may take a loss of pay for such absences rather than vacation if approved by the Vice President of Administration or District Office Manager on the monthly Cumulative Absence Report.
