VACATION Blackout and Professional. Development Days The Board will provide a calendar to all bargaining unit employees by April 30th of each year for the following school year. It will list all professional development days and all vacation blackout days which will be defined as the first two weeks of school, the day before and the day after holidays, and the last week of school. Employees must get approval from the Director to take days off during blackout days.

  • Respectful Workplace a. The Employer is committed to taking appropriate measures to create and maintain a workplace that is respectful and free from inappropriate workplace behavior for all Agency employees pursuant to the statewide policy titled ‘Maintaining a Professional Workplace Policy’ (50.010.03).

  • Professional Improvement Leave A teacher may be granted leave to be used for the teacher's professional improvement. Professional improvement days may be approved by the superintendent and used for the purpose of:

  • VACATIONS 13.01 All employees who are regularly scheduled seventy-five (75) hours on a bi- weekly basis shall receive vacations with pay based on length of full-time continuous service as follows:

  • Vacation Scheduling (a) With the exception of authorized vacation carryover under Clause 18.6, the scheduling and completion of vacations shall be on a calendar-year basis.

  • Vacation and Sick Leave At such reasonable times as the Board of Directors shall in its discretion permit, the Employee shall be entitled, without loss of pay, to absent himself voluntarily from the performance of his employment under this Agreement, with all such voluntary absences to count as vacation time; provided that:

  • Core Profession Specific 3.1.1 Develop, implement and review communication strategies, tools and guidelines Profession-specific services, as listed in the National Board’s regulatory plan and annual budget.

  • Training and Professional Development C. Maintain written program procedures covering these six (6) core activities. All procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of this Contract.

  • PROFESSIONAL COMPENSATION A. The basic salaries of teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated in this Agreement. Such salary schedule shall remain in effect during the designated periods.

  • Design Professional Contract The Contract between the Owner and the Design Professional for the design of the Project.

  • Design Professional The architect or engineer or architectural or engineering firm selected by Owner (i) for the design and preparation of Contract Documents governing the construction of a Project, or (ii) for construction contract administration under the Contract Documents, or (iii) for both, all such services and the scope thereof to be set forth in the Design Professional Contract. The Design Professional is not an employee of the Owner but is engaged or retained by it for the purpose of performing design and construction administration services for the project. The term “Design Professional” includes architects, engineers, surveyors, designers, and other consultants retained by the Design Professional.
