Vacation Pay Upon Termination. A permanent employee in the bargaining unit who resigns or who is terminated for any reason shall be entitled to lump sum compensation for all earned and unused vacation calculated to the effective date of the resignation/termination, except that employee’s who have not completed six (6) months of employment in regular probationary status shall not be entitled to vacation compensation.
