VACATIONS AND VACATION PAY. 9.01 Employees who have completed one (1) year of service with the Employer shall receive three (3) weeks vacation with pay equal to six (6) percent of their annual gross earnings. A minimum of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) of vacation pay will be held by the company and paid out to the employee at the time of the employees main scheduled vacation. 9.02 Employees, after completing ten (10) years of service, will be entitled to the following: 15 years - 4 weeks vacation with pay equal to eight percent (8%) of gross annual earnings. 9.03 The Employer will grant vacations at the times requested in the vacation seasons or period. The employees are entitled to take two (2) weeks of their annual vacation at their discretion; any additional time may have to be taken during the slack season. In order to prevent undue interference with the normal business requirements, it is understood and agreed that employees shall not take vacations simultaneously.
