Common use of - Veteran's Funeral Leave Clause in Contracts

- Veteran's Funeral Leave. Where requested by proper official of a recognized Veteran's organization, an employee may be granted reasonable time off, without pay, to attend a veteran's funeral or civic affair, as a representative of the Veteran's organization, when approved by the City Manager, and where in the opinion of the department involved, their operations will not be adversely affected.
