Voluntary Employees’ Beneficiary Association. 56.1 In accordance with state and federal law, the University and employees in the PSE bargaining units have agreed to form a Voluntary Employees’ Beneficiary Association (tax-free medical spending accounts) funded by a retiree’s sick leave cash out. 56.2 The University will maintain the Voluntary Employees’ Beneficiary Association until such time as it is altered by a vote as outlined in the University’s policy.
