Common use of Voting Leave Clause in Contracts

Voting Leave. Any Employee who is eligible to vote in any Federal, Provincial or Municipal election or referendum shall have four (4) consecutive clear hours during the hours in which the polls are open in which to cast his or her ballot.

Any Employee who is employee eligible to vote in any a Federal, Provincial Provincial, or Municipal election or referendum and who advises the Employer that he would like to vote, shall have four three (43) consecutive clear hours during the hours in which the polls are open in which to cast his or her ballot. Where the employee’s work schedule is such that the employee will have three (3) consecutive clear hours without interruption to that work schedule, the employee shall not be granted any time off work.

Voting Leave. The Company reserves the right to schedule voting time for each employee by site.
