Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave. Commencing on July 1, 2019, the Employer will comply with the Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave by paying premiums amounting to 0.4% of an employee’s gross wages to the Washington State Employment Security Department. The premium shall consist of 63.33% withheld from employee paychecks and an employer contribution in the amount of the remaining 36.67%.
