Water Quality Control. 6.1 The states of Kansas and Nebraska mutually agree to the principle of individual state efforts to control natural and man-made water pollution within each state and to the continuing support of both states in active water pollution control programs.

Water Quality Control. Licensee shall keep itself and all its employees, volunteers, agents, representatives, and contractors fully informed of and in compliance with all local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations that may impact, or be implicated by the operation of the Project including, without limitation, all applicable provisions of the City’s ordinances regulating discharges of storm water; the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (33 U.S.C. §§ 1300); the California Xxxxxx-Cologne Water Quality Control Act (Cal Water Code §§ 13000-14950); and any and all regulations, policies, or permits issued pursuant to any such authority. This includes, but is not limited to, the municipal separate stormwater permit issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board (San Diego Region) Order NO. R8-2009-0030, Order NO. R9-2013-0001, as amended; the Construction General Permit, Order No. 2009-0009-DWQ, as amended, and the Industrial General Permit, Order No. 2014-0057-DWQ, as amended; and any other applicable federal or state water quality certification, permit, license or approval. Licensee shall comply with the lawful requirements of the City, and any other municipality, drainage district, or other local agency with jurisdiction over the Farm, regarding discharges of storm water to separate storm drain systems or watercourses, including all applicable requirements of the Orange County Drainage Area Management Plan (“DAMP”) and the City of Aliso Viejo Local Implementation Plan (“LIP”). Sections 5, 7, and 8 of the DAMP contain requirements related to design and construction of public projects. Contractor shall be familiar the DAMP, and the LIP and shall comply with the requirements as specified therein. Water Quality Control. In the Project, turbidity reduction facility will be introduced to the Solomon Islands for the first time. Water quality control will become more important in the operation and maintenance work of the whole water supply facilities as well as the facility. However, SIWA do not possess basic testing equipments for water quality necessary for routine water quality control and in addition, water analysis staff is not enough in number, and knowledge and skill of the existing water analysis staff is required to be improved. SIWA is needed to make their efforts to improve skills for water quality control by utilizing the Soft Component to be applied in the Project.

  • Water Quality 8.1. The Supply shall comply with the quality standards imposed by the Act and the Water Quality Regulations, PROVIDED ALWAYS that where a particular standard is the subject of a legal instrument accepted or issued by the Secretary of State or the Chief Inspector of Drinking Water under the provisions of the Act or the Water Quality Regulations, compliance with the terms of the relevant legal instrument shall be deemed to be compliance with the relevant quality standard imposed by the Act or the Water Quality Regulations (as the case may be), in which case the Water Company shall provide the New Appointee with a certified copy of any such authorised departure or undertaking. Each party undertakes to keep the other party fully informed of any discussions which take place at any time hereafter with the Secretary of State for the proposed issue of a legal instrument and of the outcome thereof.

  • Quality Control A. Controlled Affiliate agrees to use the Licensed Marks and Name only in connection with the licensed services and further agrees to be bound by the conditions regarding quality control shown in attached Exhibit A as they may be amended by BCBSA from time-to-time.

  • Air Quality To the extent applicable, Consultant must fully comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in furnishing or using equipment and/or providing services, including, but not limited to, emissions limits and permitting requirements imposed by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) and/or California Air Resources Board (CARB). Although the SCAQMD and CARB limits and requirements are more broad, Consultant shall specifically be aware of their application to "portable equipment", which definition is considered by SCAQMD and CARB to include any item of equipment with a fuel-powered engine. Consultant shall indemnify City against any fines or penalties imposed by SCAQMD, CARB, or any other governmental or regulatory agency for violations of applicable laws, rules and/or regulations by Consultant, its subconsultants, or others for whom Consultant is responsible under its indemnity obligations provided for in this Agreement.

  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control Contractor shall establish and maintain a quality assurance/quality control program which shall include procedures for continuous control of all construction and comprehensive inspection and testing of all items of Work, including any Work performed by Subcontractors, so as to ensure complete conformance to the Contract with respect to materials, workmanship, construction, finish, functional performance, and identification. The program established by Contractor shall comply with any quality assurance/quality control requirements incorporated in the Contract.

  • Indoor Air Quality The Employer shall ensure a healthful air quality and attempt to ensure comfortable air temperature in buildings it owns and in space that it leases.

  • Erosion and Sediment Control The Contractor shall install and maintain erosion and sediment control devices to prevent adjacent streets, storm drains and property from accumulations of soil, sediment, or dust which result from his work. Devices installed to control sediment and prevent erosion shall comply with the requirements of the Georgia Tech Project Superintendent. The Contractor is responsible for monitoring downstream conditions throughout the construction period and clearing any debris, sediment, and dust caused by the progress of the Work. The Contractor shall inspect, maintain, and clear erosion and sediment control devices at least weekly unless otherwise directed by the Georgia Institute of Technology Construction Manager. At the conclusion of the Work, the Contractor shall remove all installed devices and restoring the site to the satisfaction of the Georgia Tech Construction Manager.

  • Health, Safety and Security 22.2.1 The University and the Association agree to promote safe, secure and healthy working conditions and procedures, and to encourage Members to adopt and follow sound health, safety and security procedures in the performance of their work.

  • Pollution Control The Employer and the Union agree to limit all forms of environmental pollution.
