Weekends Off. i) Nurses shall have every second weekend off. ii) A Full-Time nurse will receive premium pay as outlined in the contract for all hours worked on a second consecutive and subsequent consecutive weekend, save and except where: 1) such weekend has been worked by the nurse to satisfy specific days off requested by such nurse; or 2) such nurse has submitted in advance to the Unit Manager a request for weekend work only and such request has prior approval of the Unit Manager. The request will also contain the duration of the weekend work. 3) such weekend is worked as the result of an exchange of shifts with another nurse. iii) A Part-Time nurse will receive premium pay as outlined in the contract for all hours worked on a second consecutive weekend save and except where: 1) such weekend has been worked by the nurse to satisfy specific days off requested by such nurse; or 2) such nurse has submitted in advance to the Unit Manager a request for weekend work only and such request has prior approval of the Unit Manager.
