Extended Tours Where the Hospital and the Union agree, subject to the approval of the Ministry of Labour, other arrangements regarding hours of work may be entered into between the parties on a local level with respect to tours beyond the normal or standard work day. Long Term Occasional Teachers or teachers hired in term positions, shall be eligible for the SEB as described herein for a maximum of eight (8) weeks with the length of the benefit limited by the term of the assignment. Teachers on daily casual assignments are not entitled to the benefits outlined in this article.
Extended Hours Depending upon local service capabilities, available extended hour plans include 5-, 6-, and 7-day, 8-, 16-, and 24-hour options at additional cost. Alaris will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide Service outside of Agreement Hours as shown below. Any such service performed will be billed at prevailing Alaris Per Call Overtime rates.
Extended Illness Sick leave for extended illness (5 or more days) will be paid only during the time period in which a physician certifies the employee to be physically or mentally disabled, and only to the extent of the number of days accumulated.
Extended Health Fifty percent (50%) of the billed premium towards coverage of eligible nurses in the active employ for the Extended Health Care Benefits as provided under the VON National Group Insurance Plan, provided that the balance of the premium is paid by each nurse through payroll deductions.
Extended Absences In the event Tenant will be away from the Premises for more than 7 consecutive days, Tenant agrees to notify Landlord in writing of such absence. During such absence, Landlord may enter the premises at times reasonable necessary to maintain the property and inspect for damages and needed repairs.
