Work on a Saturday or Sunday. (a) All time worked on a Saturday will be paid for at the rate of double time, with a minimum payment as for two hours work, provided this will not apply to overtime which is worked continuously after a shift which commences on a Friday, or where the ordinary hours of work are on a Saturday, or the employee is a casual employee and is paid in accordance with 4.3.9. (b) All time worked on a Sunday will be paid for at the rate of double time, with a minimum payment as for four hours' work, provided this will not apply to overtime which is worked continuously after a shift which commences on a Saturday or where the ordinary hours of work are on a Sunday, or the employee is a casual employee and is paid in accordance with 4.3.10.

  • Holidays on Saturday or Sunday When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work Week: Five (5) consecutive days per week, Sunday to Saturday. Work Day: Seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours per day. Any shift starting after 12:01 p.m. will receive a shift premium in accordance with Article 13.01 ii).

(d) These extra rates will be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the shift penalties prescribed at Clause 38 Shiftwork.

  • Saturday Sunday and designated paid holidays shall not be counted in determining the time within which any action is to be taken or completed under the grievance procedure.

  • on Saturday 3 From 1 January 2016, the allowance for working irregular hours referred to in Article 4.7.3 shall also be paid during holidays. The employer shall determine an average amount for this payment on the basis of the allowances paid in the twelve calendar months preceding the month in which the employee takes holidays.   • Payments Due on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays If the date of maturity of interest on or principal of the Securities of any series or the date fixed for redemption or repayment of any such Security shall not be a Business Day, then payment of interest or principal need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date of maturity or the date fixed for redemption, and no interest shall accrue for the period after such date.
