Any compensatory time unused at the end of meal period, shall be considered as overtime and shall the last pay period in December will be paid at the overtime current hourly rate of one in the first full payroll period in January.

WORK WEEK AND OVERTIME. Section 1 1: The terms "work cycle period" and "pay period" are not synonymous. A work period
A. Eighty hours shall constitute a regular pay period for each member covered by this Agreement.
1. The eighty hours of a regular pay period shall be twenty-eight composed of actual hours worked and/or authorized compensated leave.

Section 2: Except as otherwise provided in this Article, a member who works hours
A. A member's regular hourly rate of pay shall be the value of the member's annual base rate of pay divided by 2080 hours.

At the discretion of the Chief of Police and subject to the approval of the City Manager, overtime compensation or compensatory leave shall be denied to a member who uses more than one (281) consecutive days sick day during a pay period in which the employee member works hours in excess of the member's assigned shift. If a member has been ordered to work overtime hours, then the provisions of Section 2-B above shall not apply to those hours.
Section 3: A member who is off-duty but who is called in to work within sixty (60)
A. A member who is off-duty but who is called back to work outside of sixty (60) minutes before the start of or after the end of the member's assigned shift shall be compensated a minimum of three (3) hours at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the member's regular hourly rate of pay.
B. The provision stated in Section 3 and Section 3-A above shall apply over the course of each contract year, up and until the City has spent $30,000. Once the City has spent the $30,000 pursuant to Section 3 above, then a member who is called back to work at a time outside the member's normal working hours shall receive a minimum of one hour of pay at time and one-half of that member's regular hourly rate of pay. WORK WEEK AND OVERTIME. Section 1 (A) Normal work week for Public Works is to be defined as five (5) eight (8) hour days, Monday through Friday. The Township, however, reserves the right, at its discretion, to reschedule the normal work cycle week to consist of four (4) nine and one half (9 ½) hour days.
