WORK WEEK AND OVERTIME. Section 1. The normal work week will consist of forty (40) hours. Department management will establish the work week and hours of work best suited to meet the needs of the Department and provide superior service to the community. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as a guarantee or limitation of the number of hours to be worked per week. Section 2. Employees covered by this Agreement who are required to be on call for their entire shifts of work, shall be entitled to a paid meal break. Employees not required to be on call for their entire shifts shall have an unpaid lunch break scheduled by management. A.
