Work Year Length Sample Clauses

Work Year Length. For the duration of this contract (July 1, 2023-June 30, 2026) the work year for teachers shall be one hundred eighty-six (186) days, including 177 student days and 9 in-service days. The Superintendent/Designee will share the school calendar for the upcoming school year with the Association President while in draft form. The Association President will have the opportunity to provide feedback to the Superintendent prior to its finalization.

  • Work Year The full-time work year for all employees employed in EA and ECE job classes shall be a minimum of 194 work days to correspond with the school year calendar.

  • Starting Work An employee who starts work and is prevented from completing his normal work day shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours’ pay at his prevailing hourly rate. The employee shall also receive his full accommodation allowance if and when applicable.

  • Length of Work Year 1. The length of the work year for custodians, accountants, (excluding school lunch accountant), personnel specialist, maintenance, maintenance helpers, mechanics, purchasing coordinator, county receptionist, warehouse and property records coordinator shall be twelve months.
