Extended Work Year. A teacher requested by the Board to work in his/her regular assignment beyond the contracted number of days shall be offered an extended contract and compensated at the scheduled per diem rate, as specified in Article XXV. Compensation for weeks worked after July 1 shall be at the new rate.
Extended Work Year. Upon the prior written agreement of the teacher and the Superintendent, the teacher may serve more than the standard work year. In such event, the teacher shall be paid for such additional days at the daily salary rate or shall serve for such other compensation as the teacher and the Superintendent shall mutually agree upon in writing. Voluntary extensions of the work year shall be paid at compensation as the teacher and the Superintendent mutually agree upon in writing.
Extended Work Year. Provisions of this contract shall apply to an extended work year as well as the regular academic year when appropriate.
Extended Work Year. Vacation accrued as a result of work in the extended school year program shall be paid to the employee in the next practicable pay period following the month in which it is earned.
Extended Work Year. In the event an employee is required to work beyond the end of the scheduled work year, the Superintendent or designee shall notify the employee thirty (30) calendar days prior to the end of the employee’s regular work year, except in emergencies. An employee whose work year is thus extended for reasons other than the make-up of canceled student instruction days shall, upon approval of the Superintendent or designee, be provided with the option of taking an appropriate number of unpaid days off during the subsequent work year.
Extended Work Year. Full-time faculty members may, upon request and with the approval of the immediate administrator, work up to four (4) additional days where necessary in connection with preparation for an academic term.
Extended Work Year. Teachers and Department Heads assigned to the Aviation Program may be assigned to teach for up to ten (10) additional days at the end of the regular school year. For each such additional work day, the employee shall be paid at the applicable per diem rate. The Superintendent may approve extending the work year for Psychologists and/or Social Workers for up to an ten (10) additional days per year. Such additional days will be scheduled by the School Principal after consultation with the department head and the affected employee(s). For each such additional day, the employee shall be paid at the applicable per diem rate.
Extended Work Year. The extended work year shall be at a per diem rate determined by the generator base excluding the teacher salary supplement and supplemental pay. For each day of additional service 1/195th of this amount shall be paid.
Extended Work Year. Any employee required by the District to work additional days or hours shall be paid for such time at per diem (annual salary divided by 180 days = daily rate: daily rate/7.75 = hourly rate).
Extended Work Year. The District reserves the right to require more days of work per year than the minimum specified under the heading "Work Year" on Wage Schedule A. The normal work schedule may be extended by the immediate Supervisor. Employees shall be given five (5) days notice of any change in their work schedule. The District reserves the right to employ less than full time employees. By mutual agreement between an employee and the District, an employee may work less than the minimum number of days specified as "Work Year" on Wage Schedule A.
