Working On A Scheduled Day Off. If a Newswriter/News Assistant is required by the Company to work on a scheduled day off, he or she shall be compensated therefore at the overtime rate, with a minimum call of eight (8) hours for any such work. A Newswriter/News Assistant shall receive a minimum overtime call of four (4) hours when he or she is required by the Company to work on other than a scheduled day off after the end of the workday, or before the start of the ensuing work day, during a period of time that is not contiguous to either work day. (Notwithstanding the foregoing, however, if a Newswriter/News Assistant is recalled to work less than four (4) hours after the end of the work day, the Company may elect instead to pay the Newswriter/News Assistant overtime for all time elapsed, whether worked or not, between the end of his or her work day and the conclusion of the services for which he or she is recalled, or if the Newswriter/News Assistant is recalled to work less than four (4) hours before the start of an ensuing work day, the Company may elect instead to pay the Newswriter/News Assistant overtime for all time elapsed, whether worked or not, between the start of the services for which he or she is recalled and the start of his or her ensuing work day.)

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Work on Day Off Full-time nurses called in on their regularly scheduled day off shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1½x) times the regular rate of pay for the hours worked.

  • Loading on Annual Leave During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading calculated on the rate of wage prescribed by subclause 7.1.3. The loading shall be as follows:
