Workplace Free of Harassment. Both parties to this Collective Agreement agree that harassment, including bullying as defined in the Employer’s “Bullying Prevention” policy, is inappropriate and shall support a workplace free from harassment. The Employer shall post a copy of the Harassment and Bullying Prevention policies on the Union bulletin board.

Workplace Free of Harassment a) The Union and the Employer recognize the right of Employees to work in an environment free from harassment, and agree to take all reasonable and appropriate action to xxxxxx such an environment. Harassment in the workplace includes threats or a pattern of aggressive, or insulting behavior by a person in the workplace, where the person knows or reasonably ought to know that his or her behavior is likely to create an intimidating or hostile workplace.

  • Sexual Harassment (a) The Union and the Employer recognize the right of employees to work in an environment free from sexual harassment. The Employer shall take such actions as are necessary respecting an employee engaging in sexual harassment.

  • Employee Orientation Each and every person working for a contractor, including sub- contractors, will be given an orientation to familiarize them with the site safety program. Unless otherwise specified, each sub-contractor is responsible for the orientation of their workers.

  • Harassment The Employer and the Union recognize the right of employees to work in an environment free from harassment, including sexual harassment, as defined by the Employer’s harassment policy.

  • Personal Harassment (a) The Employer and the Union recognize the right of employees to work in an environment free from personal harassment and agree that employees who engage in personal harassment may be disciplined.

  • WORKPLACE BEHAVIOR 3.1 The Employer and the Union agree that all employees should work in an environment that fosters mutual respect and professionalism. The parties agree that inappropriate behavior in the workplace does not promote the University’s business, employee well-being, or productivity. All employees are responsible for contributing to such an environment and are expected to treat others with courtesy and respect.
