IN-SERVICE When a nurse attends any in-service programme during her/his regularly scheduled working hours, she/he shall suffer no loss of pay. When a nurse is unable to do so, and attends the in-service programme outside her/his regularly scheduled hours, she/he shall be paid for all time attendance at her/his straight time rate of pay. If attendance is mandatory all applicable premiums will apply.
– ORIENTATION AND IN SERVICE 20.01 An orientation and in service program will be provided to all employees. These programs shall be reviewed and discussed from time to time by members of the Union-Management Committee.
Orientation and In-Service Program The Hospital recognizes the need for a Hospital Orientation Program of such duration as it may deem appropriate taking into consideration the needs of the Hospital and the nurses involved.
Trade in Services 1. The Parties shall aim at achieving gradual liberalisation and the opening of their markets for trade in services in accordance with the provisions of the General Agreement on Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as “the GATS”), taking into account ongoing work under the auspices of the WTO.
Change in Services If Customer wishes to change the scope of the Services, it shall submit details of the requested change to Company in writing. Changes may incur additional fees included, but not limited to, engineering time fees, change of equipment fees, and administrative fees. CANCELLATION POLICY. All paid fees are non-refundable and all orders are non-cancelable. USED GOODS. Should the Agreement include the purchase of used machinery, parts or other equipment, said used equipment are sold “AS IS” and “with all faults”. Company makes no warranty related to the title of these goods.
In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.
Benefit Level Two Health Care Network Determination Issues regarding the health care networks for the 2017 insurance year shall be negotiated in accordance with the following procedures:
Breaks in Service An employee’s seniority record shall be broken by voluntary resignation, discharge, reduction in force, and retirement. Should an employee laid off return to work within one year, the seniority will pick up from the date of his/her return. Seniority rights will be forfeited if the continuous period of lay off exceeds one year. An employee who is absent from work for three consecutive work days without notification for valid reason to the Employer will be considered having resigned. Should an employee leave the unit represented by the Union, the employee’s seniority will be frozen. Should he/she return to the unit, his/her seniority shall continue from the seniority level previously attained.
