Years in rank. 7.4 If the Xxxx of Student Affairs and the appropriate academic Xxxx agree, both present counseling faculty and new appointments shall have one of two choices for their career development:
Years in rank. Time in rank is based upon a year which begins on 1 July of the calendar year of an individual’s appointment. A “year” for purposes of this document therefore extends from 1 July to 30 June. Thus for individuals appointed in the last six months of a calendar year, the first “year” ends on 30 June of the following calendar year; for those appointed in the first six months of a calendar year, the first “year” ends on 30 June of the following calendar year.
Years in rank. 7.3.2 The full-time Counseling Faculty shall have a Counseling Faculty Evaluation Committee (CFEC) conforming to Senate requirements for participating in promotion, tenure, renewal and professional assessment procedures. Only tenured members of the department may serve, except in hardship cases (See 4.11.1). In hardship cases, the CFEC may include Counseling Faculty from other Connecticut State Universities. The appropriate director shall take the place of the academic xxxx (see Table 1 and 4.11.12).
Years in rank. 8.4 Full-time library faculty in performance of their various professional responsibilities shall be scheduled for no more than an average of thirty-five (35) hours per week over a semester, intersession, or summer, some of some of which may be performed elsewhere than in the library building. In accordance with university needs, flex time may be arranged subject to approval by the Library Director. Flex time is defined as a nonstandard arrangement of the thirty-five (35) hour work week to accommodate personal needs or preferences. When a librarian is required to work more than 35 hours in any week, s/he shall take a proportionate amount of compensatory time within ninety (90) days.
