Accredited Installer means an independent third party accredited by MultiChoice Nigeria to be qualified to install subscriber equipment in accordance with MultiChoice Nigeria's standards and specifications;

The Accredited Installer warrants to MultiChoice that it has extensive expertise and experience in performing Installation Services, by employing or utilising suitably qualified personnel according to the MultiChoice qualification grading system; has sufficient capacity and resources to perform DStv Installation Services; shall render the Services to the Subscribers strictly in accordance with the MultiChoice Technical Specifications and Standards; Equipment shall, following the installation, be capable of functioning in accordance with its manufacturer's specifications and/or the relevant MultiChoice Product specifications and manuals; provide to the subscriber and MultiChoice a 12 months warranty on workmanship and 12 months on the Equipment and materials use during the installation; shall provide if applicable to MultiChoice annually the true and accurate information pertaining to its annual turnover figure, in order to demonstrate to MultiChoice that it is a small and micro enterprise, qualifying for a micro exemption in terms of code 800 of the codes, from BEE requirements; shall comply with all applicable laws or regulations as prescribed from time to time by government, regulatory authorities and/or other industry bodies which govern any aspect of the MultiChoice business and the Accredited Installer’s operation, including but not limiting: the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, National Credit Act 34 of 2005, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 53 of 2003 and Occupational Health and Safety Act 181 of 1993.
