Approved Debt Securities definition

Approved Debt Securities means Exchange Fund Bills or Notes issued by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government for the account of the Exchange Fund, Treasury Bills or Notes issued by the government of United States of America (other than United States Treasury Callable Corpus (TCAL) and Separate Trading of Registered Interest and Principal of Securities (STRIPS)) and other debt securities or instruments as may from time to time be approved by the HKFE as cover for margin.
Approved Debt Securities means Exchange Fund Bills or Notes issued by the Hong Kong Government for the account of the Exchange Fund, Treasury Bills or Notes issued by the U.S. Government (other than U.S. Treasury Callable Corpus (TCAL) and Separate Trading of Registered Interest and Principal of Securities (STRIPS)) and such other debt securities or instruments as may from time to time be approved by HKFE as a form of cover for margin;
Approved Debt Securities means the approved debt securities as defined in HKFE Rules;

Examples of Approved Debt Securities in a sentence

  • In particular the Company may apply such monies, Approved Debt Securities or Approved Securities in or towards meeting the obligations of the Company to any party insofar as such obligations arise in connection with or incidental to Commodity Futures transacted on the Customer’s behalf.
