CSRE may refuse to include an instructor on its Approved Instructor List or may remove an instructor from the Approved Instructor List for any of the following: (a) failure to abide by any provision in the Instructor Application, whether or not signed by the instructor; (b) violating CSRE policies; (c) unfavorable evaluations from students; or (c) other good cause as reasonably determined by CSRE.
If CSRE removes an instructor whom Licensee has engaged to teach a scheduled Course and/or Presentation from its Approved Instructor List, CSRE shall promptly contact Licensee to discuss alternative arrangements.
Instructors teaching the theoretical classroom or online portion of the MELT course must hold a Class 1 driver training instructor’s licence with an Approved Instructor Theory (AIT) designation and a MELT designation.
In the event the employee is unsuccessful after two attempts and does not possess or maintain the required PG&E Academy Approved Instructor Certification, the employee will be returned to their previous classification/headquarters.

Each Approved Instructor employed or retained by Training Provider to provide instruction or serve as a facilitator under this Agreement shall, at a minimum, meet the requirements set forth in the applicable Program Guide and the Program Guide Supplement(s) selected by Training Provider in its approved Enrollment Form(s) (“Instructor Requirement(s)”).
Approved Instructors assigned to instruct or teach Authorized Courses leading to student certification should be certified to at least the same level of certification for the class the Approved Instructor is teaching.
