Work Week Schedule a. The typical work week shall be forty (40) hours but shall not be construed as a guaranteed work week. Alternative work weeks may be established. The typical weekly work schedule for all Maintenance and Grounds consists of a full week, Monday through Friday, except as may be interrupted by a paid holiday, paid or unpaid leave, or other break pursuant to this Agreement.
b. The typical weekly work schedule for custodial will be Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday.

Supervisors shall be scheduled by the Police Chief to work on regular work shifts; regularly scheduled work shifts shall not exceed forty (40) hours in one (1) week except as hereinafter provided for in Section 2. Work Week Schedule. 39 Each employee shall be assigned a definite and regular schedule and workweek, which may be 40 changed without prior notice to the employee in emergencies and otherwise, with prior notice 41 of at least one full day.
Work Week Schedule. 5.1 The following is an inventory of the established workweek for the various City functions. Procedurally, for the purposes of computing overtime, the workweek shall commence on Sunday and terminate at Midnight on the subsequent Saturday, and approved paid leaves of absence shall be considered as days worked.
