BACS Rules definition

BACS Rules means the Service User’s Guide and Rules to the Direct Debit Scheme provided by BACS; Business Days means Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays and public holidays in England; Confidential Information means any information, however conveyed or presented that relates to the business, affairs, operations, Yous, processes, budgets, pricing policies, product information, strategies, developments, trade secrets, know- how, personnel and suppliers of the disclosing party, together with all information derived by the receiving party from any such information and any other information clearly designated by the party as being confidential to it (whether or not it is marked “confidential information”), or which ought reasonably be considered to be confidential; Control in respect of a party, means the exercise, or ability to exercise or entitlement to acquire, direct or indirect control over such party by means of ownership, contract or otherwise; Documentation means documents or on-line help (provided in any media) relating to the Access Payment Product which may be updated from time to time. This definition includes the documents within the Schedules to this Agreement;
BACS Rules the Rules for Bacs Services and Schemes (as applicable) in force from time to time. Banking Code: the United Kingdom voluntary code of banking practice subscribed to by the British Bankers’ Association, the Building Societies Association and the Association for Payment Clearing Services and monitored by the Banking Code Standards Board, as such code may be amended or substituted from time to time. Business Day: a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England when banks in London are open for business.
BACS Rules means the payment system rules of the company from time to time as amended in accordance with such rules;

  • CCASS Rules means the General Rules of CCASS and the CCASS Operational Procedures in effect from time to time;

  • FSA Rules meanss the rules, guidance, principles and codes comprised in the Handbook of Rules and Guidance issued by the FSA.

  • FCA Rules means the Rules included within the FCA Handbook issued by the FCA.

  • PPB Rules means the rules of the Procurement Policy Board as set forth in Title 9 of the Rules of the City of New York (“RCNY”), § 1-01 et seq.

  • Business Rules means the business rules established by JSCC regarding its Financial Instruments Obligation Assumption Service for CDS Transactions, as amended, if applicable.

  • Applicable Laws/ Rules means the laws/ Rules of Islamic Republic of Pakistan/Punjab, as they may be issued and enforced from time to time.

  • M&A Rules means the Provisions on Merging and Acquiring Domestic Enterprises by Foreign Investors, which was promulgated by six Governmental Agencies, namely, the Ministry of Commerce, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the State Administration for Taxation, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (the “CSRC”), and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, on August 8, 2006 and became effective on September 8, 2006, as amended by the Ministry of Commerce on June 22, 2009.

  • SIFT Rules means the provisions of the Income Tax Act providing for a tax on certain income earned by a “SIFT trust” or “SIFT partnership” as those terms are defined in the Income Tax Act.

  • Relevant Rules means, at any time, the laws, regulations, requirements, guidelines and policies relating to capital adequacy (including, without limitation, as to leverage) then in effect in the United Kingdom including, without limitation to the generality of the foregoing, as may be required by CRD IV or BRRD or any applicable successor legislation or any delegated or implementing acts (such as regulatory technical standards) adopted by the European Commission and applicable to the Issuer from time to time and any regulations, requirements, guidelines and policies relating to capital adequacy adopted by the Relevant Regulator from time to time (whether or not such requirements, guidelines or policies are applied generally or specifically to the Issuer or to the Issuer and any of its holding or subsidiary companies or any subsidiary of any such holding company).

  • JAMS Rules has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 13 hereof.

  • HKIAC Rules shall have the meaning ascribed to it in Section 10.13(a).

  • CySEC Rules means the Rules, Directives, Regulations, Guidance notes, opinions or recommendations of CySEC.

  • PRA Rules means the Rules included within the PRA handbook issued by the PRA.

  • AIM Rules means the rules published by the London Stock Exchange governing admission to AIM and the regulation of AIM companies as amended or re-issued from time to time;

  • NYSRC Reliability Rules means the rules applicable to the operation of the New York Transmission System. These rules are based on Reliability Standards adopted by NERC and NPCC, but also include more specific and more stringent rules to reflect the particular requirements of the New York Transmission System.

  • QFC Stay Rules means the regulations codified at 12 C.F.R. 252.2, 252.81–8, 12 C.F.R. 382.1-7 and 12 C.F.R. 47.1-8, which, subject to limited exceptions, require an express recognition of the stay-and-transfer powers of the FDIC under the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and the Orderly Liquidation Authority under Title II of the Xxxx Xxxxx Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and the override of default rights related directly or indirectly to the entry of an affiliate into certain insolvency proceedings and any restrictions on the transfer of any covered affiliate credit enhancements.

  • HIPAA Rules means the Privacy, Security, Breach Notification, and Enforcement Rules at 45 CFR Part 160 and Part 164.

  • House Rules means the specific rules that are adopted by a facility licensee to govern the operation of a licensed facility and events, and which must comply with these policies;

  • Regulatory Rules means all corporate and securities laws, regulations, rules, policies, notices, instruments and other orders of any kind whatsoever which may, from time to time, apply to the implementation, operation or amendment of this Plan or the Options granted from time to time hereunder including, without limitation, those of the applicable Regulatory Authorities.

  • Model Rules means the State of Oregon’s Attorney General’s model rules of procedure for Public Contracting, which are set forth in OAR Chapter 137, divisions 46, 47, 48, and 49, and required under ORS 279A.065.

  • Site Rules means all rules, regulations, directives and policies notified by the Company from time to time which are intended to be of general application to persons at a Site controlled or managed by the Company.

  • Network Rules means the operating rules of any Network, as may be amended from time to time and provided to Higher One in writing.

  • DOE Rules means DOE’s energy conservation regulations found in Title 10, Parts 429, 430, and 431 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

  • Client Money Rules means the Securities and Futures (Client Money) Rules (Chapter 571I of the Laws of Hong Kong) made by the SFC under section 149 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance as amended from time to time;

  • Benchmarks Regulation means Regulation (EU) 2016/1011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8 June 2016 on indices used as benchmarks in financial instruments and financial contracts or to measure the performance of investment funds and amending Directives 2008/48/EC and 2014/17/EU and Regulation (EU) No 596/2014;

  • School Rules means the rules of the School, a copy of the current version of which is provided to each child on entry and is sent to parents with the letter offering a place at the School, as those rules may be amended from time to time for legal, safety or other substantive reasons or in order to assist the proper administration of the School. Parents will be given notice of such amendments;
