Certificate of Substantial Performance definition

Certificate of Substantial Performance means a certificate issued by the NCC when the Work reaches Substantial Performance;
Certificate of Substantial Performance means, subject always to Section 5.3 of the Agreement and to the warranty under GC.51, the certificate issued by the Engineer indicating that Substantial Performance of the Work has been achieved. Under no circumstances will issuance of the Certificate of Substantial Performance be deemed to mean that the Owner has accepted the Work as being in compliance with the Contract Documents;
Certificate of Substantial Performance means a certificate issued by Canada when the Work reaches Substantial Performance;

  • A guaranteed maintenance period shall be effective for a total of twelve months, specified from the day following the issuance of the Certificate of Substantial Performance of Work.

Certificate of Substantial Performance means the form required by Provincial lien legislation to be issued by the Engineer or the payment certifier when Substantial Performance of the Work has been achieved or, where no such form exists, in the Engineer’s standard form certificate issued by the Engineer pursuant to SGC 37.1.[Add or removed as required]
