Community Representative definition

Community Representative means a person who represents an agency or business that provides private funding for child care services, or who advocates for child care services through participation in civic or community-based organizations but is not a child care provider and does not represent an agency that contracts with the State Department of Education to provide child care and development services.
Community Representative means the member of the Council for the time being appointed to that position who is not a member of the College;
Community Representative means a person appointed by a tenants' voluntary group or similar Representative organisation, to represent their interests in any aspect of the contracts process (but not an elected Councillor)

More Definitions of Community Representative

Community Representative means a person appointed by the Minister as community representative and who is not registered in terms of this Act.
Community Representative means an individual who is appointed or elected to a Community Council pursuant to Rule 13 and “Community Representatives” means more than one Community Representative;
Community Representative as stated in Article 7 means any person who does not hold a Membership in CommunityWise Resource Centre as defined in Article 2.
Community Representative means a public or private nonprofit organization that has demonstrated effectiveness in providing affirmative, evidence-based supports or 15 services primarily to the Riverside County community on a voluntary basis. Such 16 services may include, but are not limited to, mentoring, counseling, personal growth and development, health, wellness, nutrition, fitness, employment skill development, 17 and academic or educational services. Community representatives shall be focused on 18 positive youth development practices and do not include organizations whose programming requires youth to have contact with county jails, state prisons, jail or 19 prison administrators or inmates, or any program that uses “Scared Straight” Programming.
Community Representative. ’ means a person appointed by the Minister in terms of section 6 as a representative of the community and who is not registered in terms of this Act;
Community Representative means an individual or entity that does not qualify in one of the Industry Categories but has an interest in the technical issues of the Corporation’s mission. Community Representatives could be, among other things, an individual; not-for-profit scientific, technical, professional, labor, consumer or other association or organization; academic institution or individual academic; public interest group; or other representative from the consumer/user community.
Community Representative means an individual member of the Association selected by a community belonging to the Association to attend annual and special meetings and/or to become eligible to serve on the ERA Executive.
