Construction Estimate definition

Construction Estimate means a cost estimate for the completion of the Work, which estimate shall include all components of the cost of the Work, as well as the Construction Manager’s Fees for the Project. Construction Change Directive means a written directive to effect changes to the Work, issued by the Consultant or the Project Manager that may affect the Agreement Price or Time.

Upon execution of the GMP Amendment, the Construction Manager shall serve, from that point forward, as the general contractor under this Agreement. Construction Manager’s Fee is of the Cost of the Work, plus the Construction Manager’s General Conditions and insurance cost. Construction Phase Services means the services to be performed through the Construction Manager during the construction phase of the Project, including without limitation, the Construction Work and such other services as required by this Agreement or reasonably inferred herein. Construction Work means all Work required by this Agreement for the Construction Phase of Project.

  • If the CONSULTANT will perform high risk blasting as part of the services provided in this contract, high risk blasting insurance equal to 75% of the Engineer’s Construction Estimate, and with limits not less than $5,000,000 is required.

Construction Estimate means a cost estimate for the completion of the entire Scope of Work for the Project, which estimate shall include all components of the Cost of the Work, as well as the Construction Manager’s Fee for the Project.

Related to Construction Estimate

  • Construction project means the same as that term is defined in Section 38-1a-102.

  • Cost Estimate means the detailed projected expenditure, including material costs and overhead, equipment costs and overhead, labor costs and overhead, and all taxes associated with each major material and service component, required for a line extension. It shall also separately identify any incremental costs associated with providing premium services. The Company may, for the purpose of standardization, establish standard construction cost estimates, for basic or premium service plans, which shall not exceed, in any event, the average cost of constructing such line extensions in the area involved, in which case the term “cost estimate” as used in this section will be understood to mean the standard estimate thus established.

  • Construction Completion means physical construction of a cleanup action component is complete.

  • Construction Cost means and includes the cost of the entire construction of the Project, including all supervision, materials, supplies, labor, tools, equipment, transportation and/or other facilities furnished, used or consumed, without deduction on account of penalties, liquidated damages or other amounts withheld from payment to the contractor or contractors, but such cost shall not include the Consulting Engineer/Architect's fee, or other payments to the Consulting Engineer/Architect and shall not include cost of land or Rights-of-Way and Easement acquisition.

  • Improvement Costs means any additional expenditure on a fixed asset that materially increases the capacity of the asset or materially improves its functioning or represents more than 10% of the initial depreciation base of the asset;

  • Operating Cost means the costs associated with operating a multifamily development once the project is placed in service.

  • Construction Zone shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 8.3 (i);

  • Estimated Construction Cost or “ECC” means the amount calculated by Contractor for the total cost of all elements of the Work based on this Agreement available at the time(s) that the ECC is prepared. The ECC shall be based on current market rates with reasonable allowance for overhead, profit and price escalation and shall include and consider, without limitation, all alternates and contingencies, designed and specified by A/E and the cost of labor and materials necessary for installation of Owner furnished equipment. The ECC shall include all the cost elements included in the AACC, as defined above, and shall represent Contractor’s best current estimate of the Guaranteed Maximum Price it will propose for the Project based on the information then available. The ECC shall not include Contractor’s Pre-Construction Phase Fee, A/E’s Fees, the cost of the land and rights-of-way, or any other costs that are the direct responsibility of Owner.

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.

  • Construction Fee means a fee or other remuneration for acting as general contractor and/or construction manager to construct improvements, supervise and coordinate projects or provide major repairs or rehabilitations on a Property.

  • Substantial Completion means the stage in the progress of the work as determined and certified by the Contracting Officer in writing to the Contractor, on which the work (or a portion designated by the Government) is sufficiently complete and satisfactory. Substantial completion means that the property may be occupied or used for the purpose for which it is intended, and only minor items such as touch-up, adjustments, and minor replacements or installations remain to be completed or corrected which:

  • Constructional Plant means all appliances or things whatever nature required in or about the execution, completion or maintenance of the works or temporary works (as hereinafter defined) but does not include materials or other things intended to form or forming part of the permanent work or temporary housing, hutting, office, stores, etc.,

  • Construction Works means all works and things necessary to complete the Project in accordance with this Agreement;

  • Operating Costs means the incremental expenses incurred by the Recipient on account of Project implementation, management, and monitoring, including for office space rental, utilities, and supplies, bank charges, communications, vehicle operation, maintenance, and insurance, building and equipment maintenance, advertising expenses, travel and supervision, salaries of contractual and temporary staff, but excluding salaries, fees, honoraria, and bonuses of members of the Recipient’s civil service.

  • Construction activity means any clearing, grading or excavation associated with large construction activity or associated with small construction activity.

  • Improvement completion assurance means a surety bond, letter of credit,

  • Project Cost means the price payable to Service Provider over the entire period of Agreement (i.e. Rs. <in words>) for the full and proper performance of its contractual obligations.

  • Direct Construction Cost means the sum of the amounts that the Construction Manager actually and necessarily incurs for General Conditions Costs, Cost of the Work and Construction Manager’s Contingency during the Construction Phase as allowed by this Agreement. Direct Construction Cost does not include Pre-Construction Phase Fees or Construction Phase Fees.
