Declared Available Capacity definition

Declared Available Capacity means the estimated net capacity of the Plant declared [daily] by the Seller pursuant to Clause 9.4.3 which shall equal the Dependable Capacityof the Plant expressed in MW at the Interconnection Point, adjusted for expected temperature conditions, less any reductions due to Scheduled Outages, Forced Outages and Maintenance Outages.
Declared Available Capacity. Means, in respect of each hour of an Operating Day, the total generating capacity of the Generator expressed in MW that the Producer has declared available to the Purchaser in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
Declared Available Capacity. In respect of each hour of an Operating Day, the total generating capacity of the Complex expressed in MW at the Interconnection Point, the Seller has declared available (based on the forecasted Hydrological Conditions) to the Purchaser in accordance with Section 5.3.

Examples of Declared Available Capacity in a sentence

  • The test shall consist of the Declared Available Capacity during a period of 24 (twenty four) hours or such longer period as may be deemed necessary.

  • The O&M Operator shall (i) permit Owner, to witness the tests on Declared Available Capacity or Heat Rate Tests of the Facility, or any calibration tests of the Invoice Meters, and (ii) permit Owner to witness any other tests of the Facility or any component thereof, and the monthly reading of the Invoice meters conducted by the O&M Operator in accordance with any of the Facility Agreements.

  • Operations Date, the Seller shall keep the Control Centre informed as to the Declared Available Capacity of the Plant and shall immediately advise the Control Centre of any change in such Declared Available Capacity.

  • It shall also establish whether each Generating Unit’s Declared Available Capacity is as declared and that the requirements of the provisions of frequency, voltage management and reserve capability are met in accordance with the provisions of the Grid Code.

  • The notification by the Seller of Declared Available Capacity shall be made at the forecasted Hydrological Conditions for the applicable hour, as such forecast method is agreed by the Operating Committee.

  • If, the Seller fails to give such notice up to the Declaration Deadline, the Declared Available Capacity for each hour of such Operating Day shall be deemed to be equal to the Declared Available Capacity for each hour declared by the Seller for the immediately previous Operating Day.

  • No adjustment shall be made to the Declared Available Capacity or Revised Declared Available Capacity (or any Adjusted Declared Available Capacity related thereto) to the actual Ambient Site Condition.

  • If the System Operator has reasonable suspicion that the Declared Available Capacity of a Generating Unit is not as declared the System Operator may test that availability by issuing a dispatch instruction to the Generating Unit to attain the Declared Available Capacity.

  • The Licensee, the System Operator and Generators are authorized to tape record all telephoned voice communications relating to Declared Available Capacity control and schedule and dispatch and shall supply at the request of the other party a copy or transcriptof any such recording.

More Definitions of Declared Available Capacity

Declared Available Capacity. In respect of each hour of an Operating Day, the total generating capacity of the Complex expressed in MW (at Reference Site Conditions) at the Interconnection Point, which, subject to Section 5.4(e), the Company has declared available to the Power Purchaser in accordance with Section 5.4(a), (b) or(c).
Declared Available Capacity means for any Time Block maximum net electrical output at the Interconnection Point to be delivered from the Unit(s) which O&M Operator has most recently declared in a capacity notice or revised capacity notice and has been accepted by the System Operator for that Time Block which O&M Operator is required to deliver to the Grid as per the PPAs and the Grid Code.

  • Excess capacity means volume or capacity in a duct, conduit, or support structure other than a utility pole or anchor which can be used, pursuant to the orders and regulations of the Commission, for a pole attachment.

  • Idle capacity means the unused capacity of partially used facilities. It is the difference between: (a) that which a facility could achieve under 100 percent operating time on a one-shift basis less operating interruptions resulting from time lost for repairs, setups, unsatisfactory materials, and other normal delays; and (b) the extent to which the facility was actually used to meet demands during the accounting period. A multi-shift basis should be used if it can be shown that this amount of usage would normally be expected for the type of facility involved.

  • Available Cash Flow means an amount, with respect to each Fiscal Year or portion thereof during the Term, equal to the excess, if any, of the Operating Profit over the Owner’s Priority.
