OSHA shall notify the EC Designating Authority normally within 30 days as to whether the proposal is complete or whether additional information is required.
In case of suspension of the designation of a registered conformity assessment body, the Party whose Designating Authority has suspended the designation shall immediately notify the other Party to that effect.
The registration of that conformity assessment body shall be suspended from the date of receipt of the notification by the Designating Authority of the other Party.
Thereafter, the Designating Authority will update each Designation as necessary, for example, to revise the scope of a Conformity Assessment Body’s accreditation.
