Energetic materials. (1) means substances or mixtures that react chemically to release energy required for their intended application. "Explosives", "pyrotechnics" and "propellants" are subclasses of energetic materials.

Energetic materials. (Category 1) means substances or mixtures that react chemically to release energy required for their intended application. “Explosives”, ‘pyrotechnics’ and ‘propellants’ are subclasses of energetic materials; Technical Note 1‘Pyrotechnics’ means mixtures of solid or liquid fuels and oxidisers which, when ignited, undergo an energetic chemical reaction at a controlled rate intended to produce specific time delays, or quantities of heat, noise, smoke, visible light or infrared radiation. Pyrophorics are a subclass of ‘pyrotechnics’, which contain no oxidisers but ignite spontaneously on contact with air. Technical Note 2‘Propellants’ means substances or mixtures that react chemically to produce large volumes of hot gases at controlled rates to perform mechanical work. “end-effectors” (Category 2) means grippers, ‘active tooling units’ and any other tooling that is attached to the baseplate on the end of a “robot” manipulator arm; Technical Note‘Active tooling unit’ means a device for applying motive power, process energy or sensing to the workpiece. “equivalent density” (Category 6) means the mass of an optic per unit optical area projected onto the optical surface; “explosives” (Category 1) means solid, liquid or gaseous substances or mixtures of substances which, in their application as primary, booster, or main charges in warheads, demolition and other applications, are required to detonate; “fibrous or filamentary materials” (Categories 0, 1, 2, 8, 9) includes the following: a.   • Genetic material means any material of plant, animal, microbial or other origin containing functional units of heredity.

  • Manufacturing Materials means parts, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, plans, drawings, and information produced or acquired, or rights acquired, specifically to fulfill obligations set forth herein.

Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.

  • Licensed Materials means any materials that Executive utilizes for the benefit of the Company (or any Subsidiary thereof), or delivers to the Company or the Company’s Customers, which (a) do not constitute Work Product, (b) are created by Executive or of which Executive is otherwise in lawful possession and (c) Executive may lawfully utilize for the benefit of, or distribute to, the Company or the Company’s Customers.

  • Customer Materials any materials, data, information, software, equipment or other resources owned by or licensed to You and made available to Us pursuant to facilitating Your use of the Services, including Customer Data.

  • Supplier Materials has the meaning set out in clause 8.1(g);

  • Program Materials means the documents and information provided by the Program Administrator specifying the qualifying EEMs, technology requirements, costs and other Program requirements, which include, without limitation, program guidelines and requirements, application forms and approval letters.

  • API means American Petroleum Institute.

  • Custom Materials means Materials developed by the Supplier at the Procuring Entity's expense under the Contract and identified as such in Appendix 5 of the Contract Agreement and such other Materials as the parties may agree in writing to be Custom Materials. Custom Materials includes Materials created from Standard Materials.

  • Client Materials means the CLIENT Development Materials and the CLIENT Production Materials.
