Exploration Works definition

Exploration Works means all exploration and appraisal operations seeking to establish the existence of Hydrocarbons in commercially exploitable quantities;

• The materials and equipment belonging to PETCO and used for Exploration Works shall remain the exclusive property of PETCO.

• The Group intends to pay the abovementioned fees via revenue generated from the Exploitation Works, internally generated funds and/ or bank borrowings.The Group has appointed Emas Kurnia Resources Sdn Bhd (“ Emas Kurnia”), a geology consultant company, to carry out the Exploration Works.

• DYMM shall apply to the State Authority (as defined in defined in the Mineral (Johor) Enactment 2003) for all approvals, consents, permits and/or licencesnecessary for the JV Company to undertake and carry out the Exploration Works (as defined below) (“ Exploration Approvals”) with respect to the said Lands.

• The said costs will be funded via the proceeds raised from the Proposed Issuance of RCPS, internally-generated funds and/ or bank borrowings.The profitability of the Mining Operations cannot be quantified at this juncture as it depends on, amongst others, the results from the Exploration Works, the production volume, gold market price, mining cost and ore grade.
