Exploration Works definition

Exploration Works means all exploration and appraisal operations seeking to establish the existence of Hydrocarbons in commercially exploitable quantities;

More Definitions of Exploration Works

Exploration Works means any all activities, excluding development and mining and processing/beneficiation, undertaken to locate, investigate, define or delineate a mineral prospect or mineral deposit located on or in the Ma’aden Land or any Additional Land Areas including ground and airborne geophysical and radiometric work, geochemical surveys, drilling, bulldozing, trenching, evaluation of work done and other work commonly regarded as reconnaissance or exploration work in accordance with Good Mining Practice including evaluation studies; “Fair Market Value” has the meaning given to it in Schedule 3 (Valuation);
Exploration Works means the operations conducted by Galaxy for the discovery, definition and evaluation of mineral resources, as may be authorized under Applicable Laws, which include geological, geochemical, geophysical and geotechnical surveys, surveying and mapping, line cutting, stripping, diamond drilling, trenches excavation, installation of exploration shafts, ramps and other underground openings and of other infrastructures required for exploration, and the carrying out of all other works usually required to conduct exploration;
Exploration Works. Are operations performed by THE ASSOCIATE in regard to the prospecting and discovery of Hydrocarbons in the Contracted Area.

Related to Exploration Works

  • exploration area means that part of the Area allocated to the Contractor for exploration, described in schedule 1 hereto, as the same may be reduced from time to time in accordance with this contract and the Regulations;

  • Exploration means all activities directed toward ascertaining the existence, location, quantity, quality or commercial value of deposits of Products.

  • Exploration Period means the period mentioned in Article 3 during which Exploration Operations may be carried out by the Contractor as provided in Article 3 hereof.

  • Demolition works means any physical activity to tear down or break up a structure (or part thereof) or surface, or the like, and includes the loading of demolition waste and the unloading of plant or machinery.

  • Construction Works means all works and things necessary to complete the Project in accordance with this Agreement;

  • Exploration Costs means costs incurred in identifying areas that may warrant examination and in examining specific areas that are considered to have prospects that may contain oil and gas reserves, including costs of drilling exploratory wells and exploratory type stratigraphic test wells. Exploration costs may be incurred both before acquiring the related property and after acquiring the property. Exploration costs, which include applicable operating costs of support equipment and facilities and other costs of exploration activities, are:
