Final School Year of Employment definition

Final School Year of Employment means full-time employment for the last full year with the District and shall be designated as "Final School Year of Employment"
Final School Year of Employment means continuous full-time (30 hours or more per week) employment for the last full school year with the District and shall be designated as “Final School Year of Employment.”

Examples of Final School Year of Employment in a sentence

  • The early separation payment will be determined based upon the number of consecutive years of service as a certified employee with the District and will be paid as a percentage of the certified employee’s salary for the Final School Year of Employment, as provided in this Plan.

  • The ESIP benefit will be prorated for days not compensated or 497 otherwise approved by the Board of Education during the Final School Year of Employment.

  • The ERNIP benefit will be prorated for days not compensated or otherwise approved by the Board of Education during the Final School Year of Employment.

  • The early separation payment will be determined based upon the number of consecutive years of service as a certified employee with the District and will be paid as a percentage of the certifiedemployee’s salary for the Final School Year of Employment, as provided in this Plan.

  • The ESIP payment for eligible certified employees will be the difference (“Difference”) between the certified employee’s salary during the Final School Year of Employment and the salary of a teacher at Step 1, Channel 1 on the teachers’ salary schedule during that same school year.

  • The Agency shall not pay for work or material unless it is performed or supplied by the listed UDBE, unless the UDBE is terminated in accordance with this section.

  • Failure to complete Employee’s Final School Year of Employment with the District will result in a prorated reduction in the benefits paid for those days not compensated during the Final School Year of Employment, except as may be otherwise required by law or approved by the Board.

Related to Final School Year of Employment

  • Year of Employment means a period of service of 12 months.

  • Date of Employment means the first day an Employee performs an Hour of Service.

  • Period of Employment shall include any extension thereof pursuant to the preceding sentence. Provision of notice that the Period of Employment shall not be extended or further extended, as the case may be, shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement and shall not constitute “Good Reason” for purposes of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Period of Employment is subject to earlier termination as provided below in this Agreement.

  • Scope of employment means performance by an employee acting in good faith within the duties of the employee’s office or employment or of tasks lawfully assigned by a competent authority including the operation or use of an agency vehicle or equipment with actual or implied consent of the supervisor of the employee, but shall not include corruption or fraud;

  • Term of Employment means the period specified in Section 2.

  • Employment Period has the meaning set forth in Section 2.01.

  • Employment Year means each twelve-month period, or part thereof, during which Employee is employed hereunder, commencing on the Commencement Date and on the same day of the subsequent calendar year and each consecutive 12 month period thereafter.

  • Consulting Period has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 14(f) hereof.

  • Employment Term has the meaning specified in Section 2.

  • Post-Employment Period is defined in Section 8.2.

  • Self-employment shall be where a Claimant sets up his/her own business and is responsible for paying his/her tax and National Insurance.

  • Employment Date means the first date as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service, provided that, in the case of a Break in Service, the Employment Date shall be the first date thereafter as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service.

  • Separation Date has the meaning set forth in the Separation Agreement.

  • Employment Commencement Date means the date on which the Employee first performs an Hour of Service.

  • Part-time employment means any employment or combination of one or more employments in a civil division in which an individual works fifty percent (50%) or less of the time prescribed as the standard work week by the governing body or other appropriate authority of the civil division or where the employee earns not more than one-half (1/2) of the rate assigned to the position if the position has been allocated to a graded salary schedule.

  • Employment Termination Date means, with respect to a Participant, the first day upon which the Participant no longer has an employment or service relationship with the Company or any Related Company.

  • Date of Termination means the date of receipt of the Notice of Termination or any later date specified therein, as the case may be; provided, however, that (i) if the Executive's employment is terminated by the Company other than for Cause or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date on which the Company notifies the Executive of such termination and (ii) if the Executive's employment is terminated by reason of death or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date of death of the Executive or the Disability Effective Date, as the case may be.

  • Length of Employment means the period of time since an employee last became a full-time or part-time employee in a permanent or term position for purposes of calculating all entitlements pursuant to this Agreement including, but not limited to, vacation, bonus vacation and pre-retirement leave and “Length of Service” shall have a similar meaning. Conversion from full-time or part-time status to casual status shall be considered a break in service and no period of casual employment or prior full-time or part-time employment in a permanent or term position shall be included in an employee’s length of employment or length of service even when a casual employee subsequently becomes a full-time or part-time employee.

  • Suitable employment or "suitable job" means employment or a job:

  • Base Compensation means the amount equal to the sum of (i) the greater of Executive’s then-current Annual Base Salary or Executive’s Annual Base Salary as of the date one day prior to the Change in Control, and (ii) the Average Incentive Bonus.

  • Employment Termination means the effective date of: (i) Executive’s voluntary termination of employment with the Company with Good Reason, or (ii) the termination of Executive’s employment by the Company without Good Cause.

  • Full-time employment means employment resulting in, at least, an annual earned income reported

  • Severance Term means the six (6) month period following Employee’s termination by the Company without Just Cause (other than by reason of death or Disability) or by Employee for Good Reason; provided, that if such termination occurs within twelve (12) months following a Change in Control, the Severance Term shall be the twelve (12) month period following such termination.

  • contract of employment means a contract of service or apprenticeship, whether express or implied, and (if it is express) whether oral or in writing;

  • Annual Salary means the salary given under this Part.

  • Termination of Employment means that the Executive ceases to be employed by the Company for any reason, voluntary or involuntary, other than by reason of a leave of absence approved by the Company.
