Generation attributes definition

Generation attributes means the non-price characteristics of the electrical energy output of a generation unit including, but not limited to, the unit’s location, fuel type, actual emissions, vintage and policy eligibility. The Commission may modify this list as appropriate.

  • These GIS Certificates and any other GIS Certificates associated with Environmental Attributes other than RPS Class I Renewable Generation Attributes, shall be transferred directly to an account owned by the Distribution Company in whose service territory the Solar Tariff Generation Unit is located upon issuance by NEPOOL GIS.
