Examples of Immediate family member or household in a sentence
In order to access an entitlement to bereavement leave, employees must as soon as practicable, inform the Supervisor or Manager of the following: e) That the employee will be absent from work because of the death of an Immediate family member or household member; f) The period of the absence including the requirement for additional time off for the purposes of travel; and g) The name of the person who has died and that person's relationship to the employee.
Immediate family member or household shall mean: a) An employee’s spouse, child, parent, grandchild, grandparent or sibling; b) A child, ex-nuptial child, step child, adopted child, foster child, ex-foster child, parent, grandparent, or sibling of the employee’s spouse.
An employee must also provide Council with a copy of the funeral notice or such other evidence of the death that Council requires to substantiate the fact that the leave is related to the death of an Immediate family member or household member.
Immediate family member or household is defined as a parent, sibling, child or spouse or any person residing in the same household as an employee of the Challenge Entities.
