Amount of Personal Leave. Eight (8) days of the sick leave are available to each employee for personal business. No more than two (2) personal business days may be used in succession, but such days can be used in succession to extend one weekend (excluding dates during the month of September and time after Spring Break and holidays). Any exception must be approved in advance by the Superintendent or designee. If all eight personal days are not used in the school year, one personal day shall be carried over to the following year. An employee may not accumulate more than 4 personal days (5 days for kindergarten teachers where release time is not given in accordance with Article IV, Section E), and any unused personal days will accumulate as sick days.
Amount of Personal Leave. 23.3.1 From 1 July 2024, a Permanent Employee will accrue on a progressive basis thirteen (13) days per year for use as both personal leave and xxxxx’s leave which accumulates from year to year.
23.3.2 From approval of the Agreement, any of the three (3) carer’s leave days which remain unused, will be credited to the Employees personal leave balance and will be accrued.
23.3.3 The requisite evidentiary requirements and Absence Management process are outlined in Appendix 1.
Amount of Personal Leave. All non-Food Service personnel will receive eight (8) days for personal business. Food Service personnel will receive six (6) days for personal business. No more than two (2) personal business days may be used in succession, but such days can be used in succession to extend one weekend (excluding dates during the month of September and time after Spring Break and holidays). Any exception must be approved in advance by the Superintendent or designee. If all personal days are not used in the school year, one personal day shall be carried over to the following year. A non-Food Service employee may not accumulate more than nine (9) personal days; a Food Service employee may not accumulate more than seven (7) personal days, and any unused personal days will be accumulated as sick days.
Amount of Personal Leave. (a) Paid personal leave accrues progressively during a year of service according to the Employee's ordinary hours of work (excluding overtime) and accumulates from year to year.
(b) An Employee is entitled to the following amount of paid personal leave (pro- rata for part-time Employees):
(i) 96 hours or as provided by the NES (whichever is greater) in the first year of service;
(ii) 112 hours or as provided by the NES (whichever is the greater) in each year in the second, third and fourth years of service;
(iii) 168 hours in each year in the fifth and following years of service.
Amount of Personal Leave. 16.1.1 Every Employee (other than a casual Employee) shall become entitled to seventy-six (76) hours personal leave every twelve (12) months of employment with the Company. Part time Employees are entitled to a pro rata paid personal leave entitlement.
16.1.2 Personal leave includes sick leave and xxxxx’s leave.
16.1.3 Paid personal leave is available to full time and part time Employees when the Employee is absent due to:
(a) Personal illness or injury (sick leave); or
(b) To provide care and support to an immediate family or household member who is ill or injured, or in the case of an unexpected emergency in relation to that person (xxxxx’s leave).
Amount of Personal Leave full time Employees
(a) A full time Employee is entitled to twenty (20) days (152 hours) referenced to a thirty-eight-hour week of personal leave, except that in the first year of employment the entitlement to personal leave is 12 hours and 40 minutes for each completed month of employment (pro rata for an incomplete month).
(b) Untaken personal leave accumulates from year to year without limitation.
Amount of Personal Leave. Full-time employees and full-time seasonal employees shall be granted three (3) personal days of paid leave, to conduct personal business.
Amount of Personal Leave a. A Permanent Employee will be entitled to 13 days’ personal leave per year which will consist of sick leave and carer’s leave.
Amount of Personal Leave. 18.1.1 Paid personal leave is available to a pilot when the pilot is absent due to:
(a) Personal illness or injury; or
(b) For the purposes of caring for an immediate family or household member who is sick and requires the pilot's care and support.
18.1.2 The amount of personal leave to which a pilot is entitled depends on how long he or she has worked for the employer and accrues as follows: Less than 1 month 5 days 5 1 month to less than 3 months 1 days 6 3 months to less than 6 months 6 days 12 6 months to less than 12 months 8 days 20 Each year thereafter 15 days
Amount of Personal Leave. Each employee shall have six (6) days for 2022-2023 and in 2023-2024 and thereafter five (5) days of sick leave are available to each employee for personal business. If all personal days are not used in the school year, one personal day shall be carried over to the following year. An employee may not accumulate more than 4 personal days, and any unused personal days will accumulate as sick days. No more than two (2) personal business days may be used in succession, but such days can be used in succession to extend one weekend. This excludes any weekends prior to October 1 or after April 1. Personal days may not be used to extend any school holiday, unless awarded a lottery day.
