Improper Illumination means any of the following: (a) transmissions other than as specified in writing by RigNet or (b) transmissions of an incorrect frequency or to an incorrect receptor, or (c) transmissions at power levels exceeding licensed or regulated limits, or (d) any illumination that could cause harm to or interference on any transponder or space segment on any satellite or any receptor in a terrestrial wireless network.
Improper Illumination is defined as any of the following: (a) transmissions other than as specified in writing by GDS, or (b) transmissions of an incorrect frequency, or (c) transmissions at excessive power levels, or (d) any illumination that could cause harm to or interference on any transponder or space segment on any satellite. CUSTOMER shall take immediate corrective action to stop the Improper Illumination. It is CUSTOMER responsibility to provide GDS, on or before the Due Date, with a telephone number(s) at which GDS can contact CUSTOMER twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, 365/366 days per year. In addition, GDS has the right, in its sole discretion, to take immediate action, including but not limited to suspending or terminating any affected Service(s), in order to protect GDS’s services and/or interests.
Examples of Improper Illumination in a sentence
Customer will take immediate corrective action to stop the Improper Illumination.

More Definitions of Improper Illumination
Improper Illumination means (i) transmissions other than as specified in the transmission parameters set out in the Satellite User Guide set out at Exhibit C, (ii) transmissions at an incorrect frequency, (iii) transmissions at excessive power levels, and/or (iv) any illumination that could cause harm or interference to any Transponder or space segment on the Serving Satellite or to any other satellite. i. The CUSTOMER shall comply strictly with the link budget i.e. the technical calculation specified by Singtel at Exhibit A. ARTICLE 12:

Improper Illumination is defined as any of the following: (a) transmissions other than as specified in writing by Tampnet, or (b) transmissions of an incorrect frequency, or (c) transmissions at excessive power levels, or (d) any illumination that could cause harm to or interference on any transponder or space segment on any satellite. If Tampnet detects or is informed of any Improper Illumination of any Service provided under these Terms and Conditions, Tampnet will immediately notify Customer. Customer will take immediate corrective action to stop the Improper Illumination. If capable, and as soon as capable, Tampnet will temporarily suspend, with no liability to Customer, any affected Services should Customer be unable to rectify the Improper Illumination within four (4) minutes from notification of the Improper Illumination to Customer as set forth in the preceding sentence. Such affected Services will be suspended until Customer demonstrates to Tampnet’s sole satisfaction that the Improper Illumination is rectified. Customer will be charged and will pay any amount that Tampnet is required to pay to its Satellite Suppliers or other telecommunications service provider(s) under any Other Contract due to any Improper Illumination attributable to Customer. Tampnet will timely inform Customer in writing of any liability Tampnet incurs as a result of such Improper Illumination. It is Customer’s responsibility to provide Tampnet, on or before the Due Date, with a telephone number(s) at which Xxxxxxx can contact Customer twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, 365/366 days per year. In addition, Xxxxxxx has the right, in its sole discretion, to take immediate action, including but not limited to suspending or terminating any affected Service(s), in order to protect Xxxxxxx’s services and/or interests.

Improper Illumination shall be defined as: (i) transmissions other than as specified in the SKYNET Performance Parameters set forth in Exhibit A (PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS), (ii) transmissions at an incorrect frequency, (iii) transmissions at excessive power levels, and/or (iv) any illumination that could cause harm or interference to any transponder or space segment on the serving satellite. If SKYNET detects any Improper Illumination, as defined above, of any transponder and/or space segment provided under this Agreement, it shall notify CUSTOMER by calling the phone number that CUSTOMER hereby agrees to provide to the applicable SKYNET operation center at the time of initial Satellite access, at which number(s) CUSTOMER represents it is reachable twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, 365 / 366 days per year ("Notification Number"). Within five (5) minutes of such notification, CUSTOMER shall take immediate corrective action to stop the Improper Illumination. In the event CUSTOMER fails to stop the Improper Illumination within such time period, SKYNET shall have the right to take immediate action, including but not limited to suspending CUSTOMER's Service on the affected transponder and/or space segment and/or immediately terminating this Agreement, in order to protect SKYNET's services and/or interests. If Service is suspended, CUSTOMER shall continue to remain liable for all charges and other amounts payable during the suspension period in accordance with the terms hereof until CUSTOMER cures the default (in which case SKYNET will then reactivate the Service). If this Agreement is terminated, CUSTOMER shall pay for Service received through the time of termination and any Early Termination Charges that may be due pursuant to Paragraph 20 (EARLY TERMINATION CHARGE). Notwithstanding any such suspension or termination, CUSTOMER shall, upon receipt of SKYNET's invoice therefor, reimburse SKYNET for the full value of any credit allowance(s) that SKYNET grants to any customer(s) whose service was interrupted as a direct result of CUSTOMER's Improper Illumination.
Improper Illumination shall include transmissions that are other than as described in Exhibit E, transmissions at an incorrect frequency, transmissions at excessive power levels, mis-pointing, incorrect polarization, incorrect bandwidth or incorrect power spectral density, any or all of which can cause harm or interference to any transponder or to any satellite. In the event SKYNET, in its sole and reasonable judgment, believes CUSTOMER is causing Improper Illumination [*]. In no event will paying for this vacated capacity apply towards CUSTOMER's Limitation of Liability as set forth in Paragraph 7 of these Terms and Conditions. Furthermore, if immediate action as set forth above is not taken by CUSTOMER, SKYNET shall have the right to take immediate action to protect its services or its interests, including but not limited to suspending or terminating CUSTOMER's Service on the affected transponder(s).
