Incentive definition

Incentive means a term or condition whose purpose is to motivate the Contractor to provide supplies or services at lower costs, and in certain instances with improved delivery or technical performance, by relating the amount of profit or fee earned to the Contractor’s performance.
Incentive means a payment due to the Supplier, in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement, for any delivery, performance or outcome, as the case may be, which is better than the standards specified in respect thereof;
Incentive means any consideration provided by the Company, including buy downs, markdowns,rebates, bill credits, payments to third parties, direct installation, giveaways, and education, which encourages the adoption of program measures.

Examples of Incentive in a sentence

  • Treatment of the Incentive Award in any such case shall be as set forth in the Executive’s award agreement.

  • Officer shall be eligible to participate in such of Corporation’s benefits and deferred compensation plans as are now generally available or later made generally available to executive officers of Corporation, including, without limitation, the Incentive Plans, dental and medical plans, group life and disability insurance, perquisites, and retirement plans.

  • The payments set forth in Sections 4.1 and 4.2 of this Agreement and the vesting of any unvested awards granted under the Incentive Plans upon a termination are subject to the execution and delivery by Officer of a waiver and general release of claims (the “Release”) to Corporation substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A (and having not revoked such Release for a period of seven (7) days following its execution by Officer and its delivery to the Corporation).

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, it is expressly understood and agreed that the terms and conditions of any Long-Term Incentive Awards shall continue to be governed by the applicable Long-Term Incentive Award Agreements and shall not be affected by this Release.

  • Incentive days are to be given as follows: 12 incentive hours for each 4-month period of perfect attendance for a total of not more than 36 hours per calendar year.
