Inexcusable Delay definition

Inexcusable Delay means any delay of the completion of the Project beyond the expiration of the Contract Time resulting from causes other than those listed above. An Inexcusable Delay shall not entitle the Contractor to an extension of the Contract Time or an adjustment of the Contract Sum.
Inexcusable Delay means any delay beyond the Contract Time resulting from causes other than those listed in Subparagraphs A1 and A2, above. An Inexcusable Delay will not entitle the Contractor to an extension of Contract Time or an adjustment of the Contract price.

Examples of Inexcusable Delay in a sentence

  • If the delay is an Inexcusable Delay, as defined below, the Contractor shall prepare a recovery schedule for the City’s review and approval, showing how the Contractor will compensate for the delays and achieve Substantial Completion by the date(s) shown on the Schedule.

  • An Inexcusable Delay is any delay to Final System Acceptance other than an Excusable Delay.
