Installation Drawings. ’ means the drawings, prepared by the contractor for approval by the consulting engineer, which show details of the contractor’s proposals for the execution of the engineering system;
Installation Drawings means those drawings used by the Contractor for installation purposes which show the setting out detail and the overall integration of the Works with the work of the Civil Infrastructure Contractors and Designated Contractors.
Installation Drawings means a drawing based on the detailed design or coordination drawing with the primary purpose of defining that information needed by the tradesmen on site to install the works. The main features of installation drawings shall be as follows:- • Plan layouts shall be to a scale of at least 1:50 and be accompanied by cross-sections to a scale of at least 1:20 for all congested areas.• The drawing shall be spatially co-ordinated, i.e. there shall be no physical clashes between the system components when installed at the scaled-off positions shown on the drawings• Allowances shall be made, and shown on the drawings, for inclusion of all supports and fixings necessary to installed the works• The spaces between pipe and ducts runs shown on the drawings shall make allowance for the service at its widest point. Insulation, standard fitting dimensions and joint widths shall therefore have been allowed for on the drawings.• The drawing shall make allowances for installation detail provided from shop drawings.• The drawings shall make allowances for installation working space, space to facilitate commissioning and space to allow on-going operation and maintenance in accordance with the relevant health and safety requirements.• Allowances shall be made for plant and equipment including those that are chose as alternatives to the designer’s specified option.• Dimensions shall be provided where the positioning of the services is considered shall be important enough not to leave to the tradesman on site.• Plant room layouts shall be to a scale of at least 1:20 and be accompanied by cross sections and elevations to a scale 1:20.• All conduit routes and sizes shall be shown whether surface mounted or buried within the building fabric.

Related to Installation Drawings

  • Construction Drawings means those drawings containing the technical details associated with the design, construction and installation of the Infrastructure;
