Interconnection System Impact. Study shall mean an engineering study that evaluates the impact of the proposed interconnection on the safety and reliability of Transmission Provider's Transmission System and, if applicable, an Affected System. The study shall identify and detail the system impacts that would result if the Generating Facility were interconnected without project modifications or system modifications, focusing on the Adverse System Impacts identified in the Interconnection Feasibility Study, or to study potential impacts, including but not limited to those identified in the Scoping Meeting as described in the Standard Large Generator Interconnection Procedures.

When the requirements of Section 6 are performed as part of the Interconnection System Impact Study, the Interconnection Customer shall be responsible only for the deposit requirements of the Interconnection System Impact Study, and there shall be only one final report, which will include the results of both Section 6 and Section 7. Interconnection System Impact Study Agreement shall mean the form of agreement contained in Appendix 3 of the Standard Large Generator Interconnection Procedures for conducting the Interconnection System Impact Study. IRS shall mean the Internal Revenue Service.

  • A wind generating plant shall operate within a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, measured at the Point of Interconnection as defined in this LGIA in order to maintain a specified voltage schedule, if the Interconnection System Impact Study shows that such a requirement is necessary to ensure safety or reliability.

  • A newly interconnecting non-synchronous Generating Facility, and any subsequent modifications thereto, for which the Interconnection System Impact Study or Cluster Study commences after October 5, 2016 shall maintain dynamic reactive capability over the power factor range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, at continuous rated power output, measured at the high-side of the station transformer or at the Point of the Interconnection if there is no station transformer.
