Investment Expenses definition

Investment Expenses as used in this Agreement, means [(a) plus (b)], but not to exceed (c), where:
Investment Expenses means all expenses which under generally accepted accounting principles would be classified as investment expenses, including, without limitation, investment manager’s or advisor’s fees and expenses, custodial fees, fees of broker-dealers for effecting investment transactions or rendering investment advice, expenses relating to the making of investments and expenses relating to the recovery of any investment in a bankrupt or insolvent entity.
Investment Expenses has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2(a)(vi).

Examples of Investment Expenses in a sentence

  • Portfolio Investment Expenses: Expenses related to Portfolio Investments will be paid from capital contributions called from Preferred Membership Interests.

  • Any Portfolio Trading and Investment Expenses payable by the Company hereunder will be paid by the Company within ten (10) Business Days following receipt by the Company of an invoice for such expenses, detailing the calculation of such expenses.

Investment Expenses for such Accounting Period, which means the sum of (x) aggregate fees, expenses and other amounts and costs Deemed Paid by the Ceding Company or any of its Affiliates or designees to any Investment Manager or any other Person relating to investment advice, investment management, hedging support, derivatives advisory services, tracking of derivatives transactions, securities lending, repurchase, reverse repurchase and similar transactions and trade processing, settlement, pricing, collateral and margin management, and other related services for such transactions, in each case, relating to the ModCo Assets or relating to the custody of any ModCo Assets, plus (y) an expense allowance for investment accounting services (including maintenance of the Reinsurer accounting basis for the ModCo Assets) provided, or caused to be provided, by the Ceding Company or its Affiliates equal to 0.225 basis points times the GAAP Carrying Value of the ModCo Assets as of the beginning of such Accounting Period, plus
Investment Expenses shall include the fees and expenses of the Fund relating to its investing activities, including but not limited to all brokerage fees and commissions, interest on margin accounts and other indebtedness, borrowing charges on Securities sold short, custodial fees, bank service fees, costs of any outside appraisers, accountants, attorneys or other experts or consultants engaged by the General Partner in connection with specific transactions, any legal fees and costs (including settlement costs) arising in connection with any litigation or regulatory investigation instituted against the Fund or the General Partner in connection with the investment activities of the Fund, withholding and transfer fees, clearing and settlement charges, and any other expenses related to the purchase, sale or transfer of investments. Without limiting the foregoing, "Investment Expenses" shall include all of the General Partner's travel expenses relating to the Fund's investing activities, including but not limited to travel undertaken for the purpose of researching or monitoring actual or potential Fund investments.
Investment Expenses means the expense ratios and other fees and expenses, except the Management Fee, associated with the Investment Options and any Underlying Investments.
Investment Expenses means any taxes, levies, fees and other costs directly related to the investment of the assets of the FUND specific to each particular INVESTMENT PORFOLIO;
Investment Expenses means the reasonable, documented, out-of-pocket legal counsel fees and expenses of the Initial Investors in connection with the transactions contemplated by this Agreement to the extent actually incurred or earned.

Investment Expenses. Means, with respect to any Investment or potential
