Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework definition

Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework means the Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework for the Original Project, as revised and duly adopted by the Borrower and publically disclosed by the Borrower on April 15, 2010, which sets forth the principles and procedures, satisfactory to the Bank, governing land or other asset acquisition from, resettlement and rehabilitation of, and compensation to Displaced Persons, as well as reporting and monitoring arrangements to ensure compliance with said principles and procedures.

Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework or LARPF” means the Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework adopted by the Borrower and submitted to the Bank on November 11, 2008, which establishes the potential resettlement and compensation principles and procedures, organizational arrangements and design criteria to be applied to the Project implementation in compliance with the laws of the Borrower and the Bank’s safeguards policy on land acquisition and involuntary resettlement.

Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework means the Land Acquisition and Resettlement Framework acceptable to the World Bank, included in the Project Operations Manual adopted by the Recipient, and giving details of provisions for scheme for land acquisition, compensation, rehabilitation and resettlement assistance, consultations and disclosure to Displaced Persons, as such Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework may be amended from time to time in agreement with the Recipient and the World Bank.

Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework means the Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework dated January 31, 2005, in respect of the Project, adopted by PGN President Director Decree No.000500.SERT/22/UT/2005 of February 7, 2005, describing procedural and institutional aspects pertaining to land acquisition and the resettlement, rehabilitation and compensation of Displaced Persons under the Project, as such Framework may be amended from time to time with the agreement of the Bank.

Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework means the Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy adopted by the Borrower through KIMPRASWIL on January 29, 2004, setting forth the measures and actions to be taken during the implementation of the Project for the provision of compensation, rehabilitation and resettlement assistance to Displaced Persons, as such framework may be amended from time to time with the prior agreement of the Association.

Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework means the Policy Framework set out in the Borrower’s letter to the Bank of even date with this Agreement and appended to the Environmental Management Plan, for the provision of compensation, rehabilitation and resettlement assistance to Project Affected Persons;

Land Acquisition and Resettlement Policy Framework or “LARPF” means the policy framework for land acquisition and resettlement approved by the Project Implementing Entity’s Board of Directors on January 25, 2006, as it may be amended from time to time with the prior approval of the Bank, which sets forth the policies and procedures that shall apply to the preparation and carrying out of any land acquisition or resettlement action plan that may be required under the Project; and
