Manufacturer Support definition

Manufacturer Support means any support services provided in respect of Equipment by the manufacturer of the Equipment as a mandatory feature.
Manufacturer Support means the part of the Support Services which comprises support of the Software and/or Hardware by the licensor of such Software and/or manufacturer of such Hardware.
Manufacturer Support means that Avaya or an Avaya authorized service provider make available routine hardware/software updates or patches to fix product problems, and any applicable support notes, when and if such updates and patches become available. At Avaya’s sole discretion, upgrades to the next Minor Release version of the Licensed Software may be offered in lieu of an update or product patch. Manufacturer Support also means that Avaya or an Avaya authorized service provider will make available hardware replacement parts. Product substitution or refurbished parts may be provided as deemed appropriate by Avaya. At Avaya’s sole discretion, Avaya may also make available updates to product documentation and other web-based information.

Examples of Manufacturer Support in a sentence

  • Assignee agrees that it will not enter into any amendment, modification, supplement, rescission, cancellation or termination of the Manufacturer Support Agreement in respect of the Contract Rights, as and to the extent the same relate to the Aircraft, without the prior written consent of Assignor.

  • Contractor is authorized to deliver Manufacturer Support and as such, Contractor has the ability to escalate to Manufacturer TAC for incidents, as well as receive all software updates for devices.

  • These phone models may not support new features and if the phone model is outside of the Avaya Manufacturer Support period, resolution of any phone issue is limited to already available bug fixes.

  • The standard Extended Services Support period for Software is five (5) years after the Product’s End of Manufacturer Support Date.

  • Tetherfi may extend Manufacturer Support for longer than 2 years to allow customers to stabilize on a release.


More Definitions of Manufacturer Support

Manufacturer Support means the availability through Avaya or an Avaya authorized service provider of Service Packs or Patches to fix product problems, and any applicable support notes, when and if any of the foregoing becomes available from Avaya. Critical Problems are addressed through delivery of Patches. Non-Critical Problems are addressed through delivery of Service Packs. In most circumstances and at Avaya’s sole discretion, upgrades to the latest Minor Release or Update version of the Licensed Software will be required before application of the applicable Patch or Service Pack in order to address the Non- Critical or Critical Problem. Manufacturer Support with respect to Hardware means the availability through Avaya or an Avaya authorized service provider of Hardware replacement parts. Such replacement parts may be provided, as deemed appropriate by Avaya, through product substitutions or refurbished parts. At Avaya’s sole discretion, Avaya may also make available directly or through an Avaya authorized service provider updates to product documentation and other web-based information as part of Manufacturer Support.

Related to Manufacturer Support

  • Technical Support Services means the technical support and maintenance Services provided by us according to our then-current technical support policy and procedure listed at xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx (“Technical Support Policy”) when the Services are purchased.

  • Manufacturer means the person or body who is responsible to the approval authority for all aspects of the type approval process and for ensuring conformity of production. It is not essential that the person or body is directly involved in all stage of the construction of the vehicle, system, component or separate technical unit which is the subject of the approval process.

  • Technical Support means the technical assistance for attempting resolution of a reported Case through error correction, patches, hot fixes, workarounds, replacement deliveries, or any other type of Product corrections or modifications.

  • Support Services means support in relation to the use of, and the identification and resolution of errors in, the Hosted Services, but shall not include the provision of training services;

  • Maintenance and Support Services means the services provided by Contractor under Appendix F.

  • Level 2 Support means, with the use of technical support specialists: (i) performing Defect isolation, Defect replication and interoperability testing; (ii) performing remote diagnostic services and on-site troubleshooting, if required; (iii) identifying the source of Defects; (iv) developing a reproducible test case for any Defect and documenting the details of such Defect for escalation to Level 3 Support; and (v) developing and implementing Workarounds where reasonably possible.

  • Support Service means an activity, such as information technology, accounting, human resources, legal, and other support functions that are required to support the ongoing delivery of core services.

  • Program Manager means the HCAI manager responsible for the grant program.
